# What You'll Need:
→ Citrus
01 - 3 large lemons, juiced (approximately 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice)
→ Roots & Spices
02 - 2-inch piece fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
03 - 2-inch piece fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped, or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
04 - 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
→ Liquid
05 - 1 cup filtered water
→ Sweetener
06 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
# Directions:
01 - Add lemon juice, chopped ginger, chopped turmeric or ground turmeric, filtered water, black pepper, and sweetener if using to blender carafe.
02 - Blend on high speed for 1 to 2 minutes until mixture reaches smooth consistency.
03 - Pour blended mixture through fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a bowl, pressing gently to extract liquid while removing pulp solids.
04 - Divide strained liquid evenly among ice cube tray compartments, filling each section to the top.
05 - Place filled tray in freezer for minimum 2 hours or until cubes are completely solid.
06 - Remove 2 cubes per serving and dissolve in warm water, add to smoothies, or consume as concentrated wellness shot.
