I created this charcuterie board with gingerbread dip for a family holiday party and everyone loved the unexpected combination. The creamy dip added a fun seasonal touch and was a big talking point at our table.

Ingredients

  • Prosciutto: 100 g
  • Salami: 100 g
  • Smoked ham: 100 g
  • Aged cheddar: 150 g, cubed
  • Brie: 120 g, sliced
  • Gouda: 120 g, sliced
  • Red grapes: 1 small bunch
  • Green grapes: 1 small bunch
  • Apple: 1, sliced
  • Pear: 1, sliced
  • Dried apricots: 60 g
  • Dried figs: 60 g, halved
  • Mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans): 50 g
  • Assorted crackers: 120 g
  • Breadsticks: 80 g
  • Cream cheese: 200 g, softened
  • Unsalted butter: 2 tbsp, softened
  • Powdered sugar: 60 g
  • Molasses: 2 tbsp
  • Ground ginger: 1 tsp
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
  • Ground nutmeg: ½ tsp
  • Ground cloves: ¼ tsp
  • Vanilla extract: ½ tsp
  • Salt: Pinch

Instructions

Prepare Gingerbread Dip:
In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and butter until smooth and fluffy.
Add Remaining Dip Ingredients:
Add powdered sugar, molasses, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix until fully combined and creamy. Transfer dip to a small serving bowl and chill until ready to serve.
