# Directions:
01 - Warm olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for 3 to 4 minutes until softened and translucent.
02 - Incorporate cubed butternut squash and chopped pears, cooking for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally.
03 - Mix in ground ginger, cinnamon, salt, and pepper; cook for 1 minute to release aromas.
04 - Pour in vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover, and simmer gently for 20 to 25 minutes until squash and pears are tender.
05 - Remove from heat and blend the mixture until smooth using an immersion blender directly in the pot or a standard blender in batches.
